Debate Teams

Based on the Foundation's mission and goals, the Ted and Kelli London Charitable Foundation sponsors debate teams at schools throughout Cook County. Debate teams provide students with the opportunity to develop their critical thinking, public speaking, and research skills.

These skills are essential for success in the legal profession, and they also help students to become more engaged citizens. By providing opportunities for underserved youth to excel in debate, we aim to cultivate the next generation of diverse legal professionals who can effectively advocate for justice and equality.

Our debate teams compete in local, regional, and national tournaments. We provide students with the training and resources they need to succeed, including coaching, travel expenses, and debate materials.
