What We Offer
Together we can make a difference.
Student Grants:
We provide financial assistance to help motivated students from underserved communities overcome the financial barriers to achieving their law school dreams. Our student grants can help cover tuition, fees, books, and other law school-related expenses.
School Grants (Debate Teams):
We also provide grants to schools to establish and support debate teams, fostering critical thinking and advocacy skills in young minds. These grants can be used to start new debate teams, provide training and resources for coaches, cover travel expenses for competitions, and purchase necessary equipment and materials.
Section 2: Our Mission
Our mission is to increase minority representation in the legal field. We believe a more diverse legal profession better reflects and serves our communities. Through our grant programs, we invest in talented individuals passionate about justice and equality.
Section 3: Eligibility
Student Grants:
Our student grants are available to individuals who demonstrate financial need and a commitment to increasing diversity in the legal field. Applicants must enroll or plan to enroll in an accredited law program at a university in Cook County or nationwide.
School Grants:
Public and private schools in Cook County with students in grades 6-12 are eligible to apply for our debate team grants. We encourage applications from schools with demonstrated commitment to providing equitable educational opportunities for all students.
